FloDee for Linux

Needs: an X11 desktop session (GNOME on Xorg, KDE Plasma on X11, Cinnamon, MATE, Xfce). Wayland
is not supported yet - pick an X11 session on the login screen's session menu. No .NET install
is needed; everything is included. 64-bit x86 only.

Install
  1. Unpack this folder anywhere (for example your Downloads folder).
  2. Open a terminal in it and run: bash install.sh
  3. Start FloDee from the applications menu, or run: flodee
Run install.sh again to update; your settings are kept.

Open FloDee: Ctrl+Alt+Space, double-tap the backtick (`) key, or the mouse's Forward button.
Right-click the blue dot for the main menu. The "?" on every panel opens its help.

Free, forever. Every new install runs the whole program unlocked for 1440 hours (60 days) of
actual use; when those hours are up FloDee keeps running on the free version (three each of
the core panels plus the capture toolkit). A FloDee licence key from flodeeapp.com unlocks the
full version on this machine: Settings > Help > Activate License. One licence covers Windows
and Linux installs alike.

Optional tools (FloDee tells you when one is needed):
  ffmpeg Record Video, Webcam
  tesseract-ocr Capture Text (OCR)
pulseaudio-utils (pactl) Volume Mixer, Audio Device Switcher, audience monitor
xdotool Text Snippets typing (a built-in fallback is used without it)
On Ubuntu/Debian: sudo apt install ffmpeg tesseract-ocr pulseaudio-utils xdotool

Drawing uses the graphics card. If the dot or panels draw black or not at all, start it with
software drawing instead: FLODEE_GPU=0 flodee

Where things live: settings in ~/.config/flodee, the program in ~/.local/share/flodee-linux.
Uninstall: bash uninstall.sh (settings in ~/.config/flodee are kept)
