MOUSE ACTIONS:
- Floater dot: Hover = show panels; quick Left-click = toggle Show Desktop (in Dormant mode it opens FloDee instead); Left-drag = move the floater (every panel follows); Alt+Left-click = toggle Lock Open (glows while active); Right-click = open the FloDee menu; Middle-click = press the Windows key (Start menu). With "Swap Floater Buttons" enabled in Settings, right-click and middle-click swap roles.
- Open FloDee anywhere on screen: Mouse wheel Tilt Right (default binding, rebindable); double-middle-click; hold Left + click Middle (chord); hold Right + click Middle (chord); mouse side button (default: XButton2 (Forward side button), configurable); hot corners / screen-edge bump (toggle in Settings); plus any custom keyboard shortcut or ANY combination of held mouse buttons — with optional Ctrl/Alt/Shift/Win modifiers — recorded in the Keybind Editor.
- Open Apps icons: Left-click = switch to that window; hover = live thumbnail preview; Middle-click = close the app gently (auto force-kills after 1.5s if it won't close); double-click Middle = force-kill a frozen app immediately; Ctrl+Right-click = Always on Top / Click-Through / Opacity / Add to User Apps; hold Right + click Left = minimize if shown, restore if minimized; hold Left + click Right = pull that window to the mouse, or grow it to fill its monitor instead if it's already small (e.g. in a Grid Layout) — same gesture again sends it back/shrinks it, or re-pulls/re-grows it to the mouse's new spot if it's since moved away (instant or sliding, with speed, minimize grow/shrink, and small-window-grow toggles in Settings > Behavior); drag an icon onto User Apps = pin it permanently.
- User Apps icons: Left-click = launch app or open file/folder; Right-click = options menu (change icon, remove the shortcut, and more); Ctrl+Drag = rearrange (when sort mode is Manual); Ctrl+Wheel = resize all icons; drag any file/folder/exe from Explorer onto the panel = add a shortcut. Folder icons: hover = load contents into the Files panel; single right-click = open as a detached floating window; double right-click = open as an inline panel that follows the floater; single Middle-click = open in Windows Explorer; double Middle-click = open in Explorer anchored to the floater.
- Files panel: Left-click folder = expand/collapse inline; double-click file or subfolder = open it; Middle-click folder = reveal in Windows Explorer; Right-click = full Windows shell context menu; back/forward arrows or the path bar = navigate; Ctrl+Wheel = cycle view modes (super-small to details).
- Preview panel: Scroll/Wheel = zoom; drag = pan; Middle-click = hide until next hover; Right-click = Detach, Pin in Place, Per-Icon Zoom/Pan Memory, Aspect, Opacity.
- Any panel title bar: drag away from the floater = detach the panel to free-float; Right-click while detached = pin, clear, or remove; Wheel on a panel background = cycle that panel's opacity; resize grips on panel edges resize it.
